George A. Walker Written in Wood: Visual Narratives with a Canadian Cut
Wood engraver George A. Walker is the artist behind several wordless novels, including his most recent, Mary Pickford, Queen of the Silent Film Era. He'll be presented a talk, hosted by the Alcuin Society, talking about the importance of wordless graphic narratives in the context of contemporary Canadian culture, political history and biography.
