The Grimsby Public Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of text and images from Fabulous Fictions & Peculiar Practices, the wacky and wonderful project by Leon Rooke and Tony Calzetta. The show features a display of the original artists’ book, including a truly fabulous pop-up paper sculpture, the artwork and texts in their original presentation, and other bright and beautiful visual art for your amusement. Don’t forget to stop by before May 21 to see the exhibition for yourself.
You can find more information about it here.
In the mean time, check out some photos of the opening reception, which took place on Sunday, April 9. Many thanks to Gabrielle de Montmollin for the photographs!
