As you probably all know, September is the busy season for book publishers everywhere. With launches, readings, literary festivals happening all the time, and new releases coming right and left, we’re definitely on our toes for most of the month just trying to keep up.
This week, we’re giving you a taste of not one, not two, but three fabulous September events. First up, we’ve got…

Lots of book lovers were in attendance for the Rowers Reading Series. So nice to see a full room at a literary event.

PQL at the Kerrytown Bookfest
Sunday, September 9, 2018, 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Ann Arbor, MI

The day started bright and early with a quick trip to Detroit. Well, actually, it was gloomy and early.

Guys, it was cold. So, so cold. Not the ideal weather for book browsing in an open-air farmer’s market, but a few brave souls made the effort.

On the bright side, the venue was pretty nice, and the vendors were varied and interesting. The people at the table across the way, for example, showed kids how to make paper!
So as you can see, we’ve been busy these first few weeks of September. But don’t worry if you missed these events—we’ve got plenty more where those came from! Be sure to check out our events page for the skinny on everything that’s happening this month.
Cheers,
