You’re invited! Join us for the virtual launch of Frances Boyle’s Seeking Shade, a short story collection full of nuanced characters as they face tragedy, illness, difficult relationships … and even phantom twins!

The ordinary characters in Seeking Shade find themselves up against extraordinary experiences and emotions. They face moral dilemmas, physical failings, mental hurdles, but through each story, there is an underlying sense that the ways that we communicate—through visual art, through literature, through dance, through performances theatrical and otherwise—shape our lives and the stories that we tell.

We hope you’ll attend the launch of this book via Zoom this Thursday to experience the fantastic range of stories Frances has to tell. The event will be hosted by Rhonda Douglas and will feature D.A. Lockhart with a preview of his “most anticipated” 2021 short story collection Breaking Right (coming soon from PQL).
