Video Trailer + Event: Out of the Dark by Wesley W. Bates

There’s nothing more satisfying than finally being able to celebrate the publication of a long-awaited book. Sometimes we work on books for months or even years before we can share the finished product with the world. And gosh, does it feel good to finally see the fruits of our labour in print! One such book that took a while to germinate is Out of the Dark by Wesley W. Bates.

Why You Want This Book

This book of gorgeously detailed wood engravings provides a retrospective of some of the artist’s work over the last several years. It also features amusing and information-filled anecdotes about each image, providing context and offering a glimpse into the artistic process. Plus, it is printed on Zephyr Antique Laid paper with Smyth-sewn bindings and hand-tipped endpapers, making it an excellent artisanal gift for yourself or the book lover in your life.
