WHO: David Ferry, Tony Calzetta, Leon Rooke, Richard Whiteman, Stephanie Small, Tim Inkster, Chandra Wohleber.
WHAT: “The structure of the work ... how, why, what. Organizing priorities and timelines for the larger work and the workshop.”
WEDNESDAY, MAY 6
WHEN: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
WHERE: Blake Thorne studio
WHAT: Continuation of Tuesday's beginnings.
NOTES: Max Streicher is in Europe May 1 to May 11 and hence unavailable.
THURSDAY, MAY 7
WHEN: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
WHERE: Neville Austin (1000 sq ft) studio also in Fringe space (a larger workshop space. View it here.)
WHAT: “Break down text and music ... determine who plays instruments for music. Start work on a music piece, start work in reading/breaking down text into Leon narrative and choral support. Talk about physicalization.”
NOTES: At 3 pm we have to move back to the smaller space. At six pm we are joined by students from the Randolph School; first rehearsal, until 10:00 pm. We have booked the BT studio throughout the night so we can leave everything in place.
